A recent survey has been conducted between 500 women in the USA which revealed some of their biggest turnoffs in relationships. Amongst the things they detested where guys coming on too fast, being called and getting texts too often and guys who had bad manners.
Its well known that girls make loads of mistakes when they are dating from saying “I love you” too soon to being overly possessive. Its not just girls who make these big mistakes. Guys are guilty of mistakes during the early part of a relationship. So in line with the findings, lets look at some things guys should avoid.
Rule number 1 – Don’t come on too fast. Both genders can tell if someone if coming off as being desperate. Whatever need you have for “instant love” you must leave this at the door. Even if you feel you want to marry this girl after the first date, don’t 
you dare tell her this! For want of a better phrase…”play it cool” and build some momentum before you tell her all your feelings.
Rule number 2 – Don’t look for perfection because it doesn’t exist. Some men have ridiculous standards an no women will ever be good enough. …”Her perfume was weird.”… ”She smelled like potatoes”… “Her eyebrows were weird.”…”her laugh is annoying”…”she looks the hairy type”
None of these are good reasons to break it off with someone. These are excuses from a person who is, perhaps, afraid of a relationship.
Rule number 3 – Don’t bombard the poor girl with a load of texts… “what are you thinking about”… yea guys say this too! CRINGE!… “I’m running 3 minutes late”…”did you have a good night with me?”
Texting can be great but the less you use it, the more she will appreciate it. There’s no harm instigating some texting but its also a good idea to let her start it off. It shows she is thinking about you.
Rule Number 4 – Don’t talk too much about the intimate stuff too soon. Guys, lets face it, we think about it all the time but don’t tell her that! If you start talking about stuff like that too soon, she will think you’re a pervert.
Should you manage to get past the first couple of dates, there will be plenty of time to talk about the physical side of your relationship. Until then, try and read the signs. Girls will make it obvious when they are ready to go to the next level.
To be honest guys, this list could go on and on. Remember that a woman is a complicated creature. Compare it to poker…If you have a good hand, you don’t want to show it too soon.
