From my experience, many guys think about approaching girls so much that when they actually come to doing it, they have worked themselves up so much that they are a bundle of nerves. If you go over and over in your mind how daunting it is to approach women this will definitely not help your dating life. The fact is, you must get over your fear of rejection. Everyone get rejected sometimes.
Remember, chances are, you’re never going to get the chance to approach a woman twice. First impressions are everything for women so once you have that chance and you don’t take it; it’s most probably gone.
The number one thing you must do is look for indicators that the girl likes you. You must try and pick up on the flirting signals women show to try and catch a guys attention. Ignorance to these are the main reason why some guys don’t get many girls. Many guys look around a room believing that they’re not attractive enough to have any girls interested in them. The truth is that there are always at least a couple of women around that may be interested in you; so start opening your eyes and look out for eye contact and admiring smiles.
Take the attention in your stride, and always ASSUME that the girls checking you out are genuinely interested in you. This will help improve your confidence w
hen the time comes for you go up and talk to them.
If you notice a girl glancing at you, try to meet her gaze and hold it for a couple seconds. Then this is the important bit… smile slightly at her then look away and continue talking to your friends like nothing happened. The purpose of the smile to let her know you are aware she was looking at you. Don’t do this over and over again with the same girl. Maybe once or twice then its time to go over and start a conversation.
When you go over to a girl you must never let your lack of confidence show. “Doubt” is one of the things that makes a woman say no. This has become automatic for a girl. When you add the words “maybe?” and “or?” when you are asking a girl out, or asking for her phone number, you’re giving that girl a reason to say no to you. When you are asking a girl out ask her like its a foregone conclusion she will say yes! If she does say no, don’t let it worry you.
You should make sure to approach a girl with a plan in mind. This is important because if the girl does agree to go out with you you don’t want to be caught off guard. Chances are, if a woman wants to go out with you she will want to be prepared for your upcoming date. Even if its just going for a drink in a bar, you should be prepared with the plans.
